I started playing and studying piano at a young age, and originally dreamt of nothing else but of one day becoming a major film scorer. John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Alan Silvestri, Danny Elfman…these are just a few of the composers who helped write the soundtrack of my childhood. At the start of my junior year of college, I landed my first professional film-scoring gig as a ghost film-scorer for Rock Mafia Studios in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. Still a full time student, I was flown back to LA every other weekend to work on various TV & Film projects. Overtime, I began working closer with Rock Mafia’s staff of songwriters and was encouraged to try my hand at songwriting, writing collaborations, and track production. I was hooked. For the past 2 years, I’ve been strengthening my writing, recording, and production skills. I returned to LA in May 2013 with a handful of newly written songs, and was introduced to the music company New Heights Entertainment where I met Alan Melina and producer Adam Anders. After listening to my music, Adam paired me with one of his affiliate songwriters—Windy Wagner. Together, we wrote songs for various Disney Projects and new up-and-coming artists. Through my work, I was later introduced to Pam Sheyne (writer of “Genie in a Bottle”). I continue to collaborate with and learn from both songwriters today.
